Large filter access makes maintenance painless. I go for reinforced panels that span big openings without sagging—internal ribs add strength. The one I used has a full-size door with strong latches and a paintable surface. Painted matte black it fits the garage aesthetic. It handles cartridge swaps easily. I hung a heavy-duty drywall access panels (24×36) over the filter and it’s rock-solid. Reinforce framing if studs are spaced wide.
